Now that we’re several days into 2017, boxing fans can put 2016 behind them. Granted we’re all walking away with scars and a severe limp, but the future may bring promise.
For all we know this year might not deliver much, but it would be tough to be worse than last year. Nonetheless fights like Keith Thurman vs. Danny Garcia, Carl Frampton vs. Leo Santa Cruz II and Badou Jack vs. James DeGale aren’t far away, and the sport generally heats up as temperatures do.
